Building on the major success of SEC’s Planned Maintenance module, SEC have now added not only a mobile solution, but also an option for web browser access so that engineers can access live jobs. This means that sending in the report of work done and time spent upon completion of the job can be done on the go.

The mobile solution allows a real time track of the locations of all engineers using GPS or telephony triangulation. As engineers are required for call outs, the system plots on an electronic map the engineer who is nearest the call out and assigns the call to that engineer. The details of the call out are then forwarded electronically for the engineer to accept. Once the work is completed the engineer sends a report of work undertaken and time taken on the call out. This data is transferred by PDA/Mobile directly to the billing system. The PDA captures a signature upon completion of work, this is also electronically transmitted as proof of work completed.

Embracing new technologies, we understand that overheads can now be drastically reduced by using mobile PDA, 3G or Windows phone technology to issue job sheets to workers, thus avoiding unnecessary visits to the office and unproductive hours filling in paperwork. Your customers too can save time by accessing the mobile site to check progress on jobs.
